YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY. - June 26, 2017: The Gawlicki Family Foundation has awarded St. Patrick’s School in Yorktown Heights a $150,000 grant to implement its Full STREAM Ahead Program (science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and math).
These funds will be used to purchase state-of-the-art technology, make facilities upgrades and provide professional development training for its staff. The upgrades will be completed before the start of the 2017-2018 school year. The funding will also provide ongoing professional training for three years.
“We are grateful for these funds and fully appreciate the magnitude of this commitment from the Gawlicki Family Foundation,” said Darlene Del Vecchio, principal of St. Patrick’s School. “We are proud to announce that we will be using these funds to enhance the science, math, and engineering curriculum in keeping with the National Catholic Education Associations’ national technology initiative.”
