Mary Gawlicki

Founder

Mary is a fervent supporter of education and health-related causes – especially surrounding investments in pulmonary health and wellness.

Prior to establishing The Gawlicki Family Foundation (2012-Present) and Corporate Translations, Inc. (1990-2016), Mary enjoyed a successful career in manufacturing finance at Xerox, Scott Paper Company, and Digital Equipment Corp. 

Mary obtained a Bachelor’s in French from Manhattanville College and later earned her MBA in finance at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Ted Gawlicki

Founder

Ted is passionate about supporting social and economic opportunity - particularly focusing on municipal and economic development. 

Prior to establishing The Gawlicki Family Foundation (2012-Present) and Corporate Translations, Inc. (1990-2016), Ted enjoyed an extensive business career, holding executive positions at two New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) manufacturing companies.

Ted holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Colby College and earned his MBA in finance at the University of Connecticut
 

The Gawlicki Family Foundation is an independently-funded, 501(c)(3) private foundation headquartered in Hartford, CT. Established in 2012 by Mary and Ted Gawlicki, the foundation offers focused grants to non-profits based in the Greater Hartford area, committed to transformative change in the areas of education, pulmonary health, and municipal and economic development. Since its inception, the Gawlicki Family Foundation has awarded over $8 million to over 50 organizations, upholding the foundation’s belief that private dollars power public progress.
